They Say: Be Yourself

They say: Be yourself

What they truly mean: Live my expectation of you.

What you should do: Look in the mirror, tell the person you are looking at in the mirror how amazing he/she is…then tell him/her your expectations.

Next, you turn around and LIVE IT!

As simple as the analogy above seem to be, not everyone can do it because of years of mind conditioning both from our immediate family and the environment we find ourselves in. But you cannot continue in that cycle, if you cannot see that you will be living someone else’s opinion of you, the devil will pick it up fast and help you stay in that loop.

This week open up your heart to possibilities. God is an infinite God filled with infinite possibilities, therefore, do not let a finite man set boundaries on/for you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Let your imagination enjoy the boundless bounty of God’s mysteries whilst enjoying the Gift of the person of the Holy Spirit – the One who is in you to teach you, counsel you, guide you into the abundant life God has planned for you.

Truth for you: ‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard/difficult for You.’ (Jeremiah 32:17)
